Meet&Deal vol5 was the first open air edition. Manifest in Prague, over 200 attendees, a pool and a summer atmosphere, even though summer hadn't arrived yet.
CZK 80,000 for Dan from Plzeň
This time the raffle raised CZK 80,000 (approx. EUR 3,200) for a new wheelchair for Dan from Plzeň, who has muscular dystrophy. The top prize in the raffle was tickets to the Meet&Deal vol10 all-inclusive edition. Our work with the Kubova English Foundation continues.
The pool surprise
Over the course of the evening several attendees ended up in the pool, including Jakub Malý of Targito, who was under the impression the pool was covered with glass. It wasn't.
Full throttle entertainment
- Daniel Klečka delivered a beatbox interlude and a rap
- DJ Poeta handled the music all evening
- The rock paper scissors tournament finally dethroned the reigning king. Matt Rybanský beat Kazimír Krysta in the final.
The QR code drama
An organisational fail that ended well. The raffle QR code pointed to the wrong account, so payments landed with a businesswoman in Nový Jičín. Thirty-five phone calls and three hours later it was all sorted without a single refund.
The lesson? Check your QR codes twice.
